KKV’s Dental Team is working hard to make their staff feel honored and supported. In March and April, the team celebrated their dental assistants and administrators with a weeklong celebration. Activities included an ice cream party, a special lunch, and a breakfast. Each staff member received a customized tote bag and water bottle.

Dr. Jason Hiramoto, Dr. Anne Tran, and Dr. Matt Oishi planned the events, coordinating the various food and goodies. This is the third year that the Dental Team has celebrated their team.

During the appreciation week, the team took turns sharing how long they’ve worked at KKV. The most senior staff member worked at KKV for more than 20 years, while the newest assistant worked for about a year.

“The assistants and administrators are all so appreciative of anything we do for them. We could tell that the events really boosted everyone’s morale,” says Dr. Tran. “Without these hardworking staff, there is no way we can run our program efficiently. Everyone plays a big part in keeping this department going.”
