Calling all adventurers!

When’s the last time you went on a journey on an urban canoe?

The Kalihi Ahupuaʻa bike ride is just weeks away and KVIBE youth have been busy planning this special day. The eight-mile downhill ride will take participants on a bicycle tour of Kalihi, exploring historically significant places spanning the ahupuaʻa from mauka (mountain) to makai (ocean).

The adventure begins at Ho’oulu ‘Āina with special “story stops” along the way to the final destination of Mauli Ola (Sand Island). After the ride, enjoy the rest of the day building community by sharing a meal, checking out the vendor and provider booths, and enjoying the music and dance of local artists and performers.
