KALIHI AHUPUAʻA RIDE - SATURDAY, APRIL 8, 2023 8AM

More than just a bike ride, the Kalihi Ahupuaʻa Ride is an uplifting event that supports the abundance of our ʻāina and this place we call home. This yearʻs ride will be held on Saturday, April 8, 2023 and will take riders through the ahupuaʻa of Kalihi.

Participants will be treated to an 8-mile ride starting at Hoʻoulu ʻĀina and ending at Mauliola Keʻehi fronting Mokauea Island. Along the way, riders will hear stories as KVIBE youth share about the cultural and historical importance of each location.

“This place is important, and this ride is about this place,” says Ahupuaʻa Ride lead coordinator, Benoit Setik. Benoitʻs co-lead, Bruce Konman agrees, “Itʻs about Kalihi and this ʻāina, this community, and this family (meaning all of us at KVIBE).” The Ahupuaʻa Ride celebrates all that is Kalihi and we hope that you can come and share in the experience with us!
