About the ea program

The Ea program began at the start of the pandemic in 2020 in response to quickly evolving community needs. In the beginning, EA was synonymous with Economic Assistance and focused on helping people with immediate COVID-related needs, such as applying for rental and utility subsidies.  But as the pandemic began to subside, the community's ongoing need for assistance remained evident. This is when a change was made and EA went from Economic Assistance to Economic Agency.
