Making sure our patients are taken care of in all aspects of their life is a clinic-wide effort. Healing Our Food Systems was able to touch the lives of thousands of Kalihi residents through each department of KKV. Bridging The Gap

Stepping into a medical setting can be daunting for anyone, but especially for those who fear a language barrier. KKV offers medical interpreters to help bridge that gap and ease this fear. Read more on the training our interpreters go through to enhance our patients’ experience at KKV.

Train with KKV & NIMAA

KKV is recruiting another cohort for the National Institute of Medical Assistant Advancement (NIMAA). From March to October, participants will learn what it takes to become a Medical Assistant. The 29-week program consists of online classes, plus in-clinic experience at KKV. Applications for the spring 2024 cohort are now open. Contact Joel Tome at jtome@kkv.net for more information.
