Nationally-Recognized Leader in Community Health Care In 1997, KKV’s Perinatal
program received the Hawaii State Achievement Award from the Healthy
Mothers, Healthy Babies Coalition of Hawaii for its Perinatal Outreach
Education Initiative. In 2001, KKV was awarded by the U.S. Department of
Health and Human Services as a National Community Center of Excellence in
Women’s Health, one of only 12 National Community Centers of Excellence
