KKV’s Dental Program brings preventive and restorative dental care to the residents of Kalihi Valley. KKV is one of the few dental clinics in the country that provides professional educational opportunities through its AEGD dental residency program, directed by Dr. Samuel Ishimura, and a new Pediatric Dentistry Specialty Residency Program. Since 1995, KKV has run a Dental Sealant Program at local elementary and middle schools, providing screenings and dental sealants to nearly 3,000 students each year.

Dr. David Breese, pictured at right, was KKV's Dental Director from 1987 - 2004. He continues to provide dental services along with a dedicated team of staff and volunteer dentists, a hygienist and dental assistants.
KKV's official service area for primary care services extends from the back of the valley downward (makai) to the H1 Freeway. To the west we are bordered by Fort Shafter and the Likelike Highway, and our eastern boundary follows the Kalihi-Mo'ole Ridge to the Kamanaiki-Kapalama Ridge and then along Kalihi Street. KKV strives always to ensure that patients can access the care they need. If we are unable to serve you here at KKV, we will do all we can to connect you with another care option.
