Job Title: Ho'oulu 'Aina Program Coordinator
Job Number: 119
Status: Full-Time
Location: Kalihi

JOB SUMMARY: Oversee the development and implementation of community-based health and environmental programs at a unique 100-acre Nature Park in Kalihi Valley.

Requirements:
Five years of management experience. Bachelor's required.
Community Health Center experience a plus.

Job Title: Case Manager
Job Number: 126
Status: Full-time
Location: Kalihi

Kokua Kalihi Valley (Comprehensive Family Service) is currently accepting resumes for a full-time Case Manager position. This position will involve working with the clients of Kokua Kalihi Valley out of Kalihi Valley areas. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to maintaining a caseload of 15-25 and providing home visit to assess the progress and follow up cases. Will be responsible to coordinate services with related social/human service provider network and provide problem-solving, supportive guidance, crisis intervention and advocacy to each client in the program.

Bachelor's Degree and at least one year of experience in the field is preferred. Experience with diverse populations, particularly in low-income communities preferred. Bilingual in English/Illocano and English/Chukeese preferred. Must have current a valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Candidates must have good computer skill and be available to work a set schedule.

Kokua Kalihi Valley (Comprehensive Family Service) is currently accepting resumes for a full-time Family Strengthening Support Staff position. This position will involve working with the clients of Kokua Kalihi Valley out of Kalihi Valley areas. Job Title: Project Coordinator

Job Summary:
The Project Coordinator will oversee and manage a community-based needs assessment and planning process that promotes health within social, cultural and environmental contexts. The aim of the planning process is to elicit and build upon community stories to develop a demonstration project that will: foster healing and reconciliation within Kalihi Valley while celebrating and sustaining cultures; support new immigrants to lay down roots in the Valley; build community resilience and residents' ability to advocate for themselves; and develop opportunities for grassroots economic development.

Qualifications:
We are looking for someone with demonstrated experience planning and implementing community programs and working with multicultural communities. Bilingual/bicultural skills are preferred, along with the ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of stakeholders. Effective management skills and experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment are essential. Also important is the ability to conceptualize and synthesize information from various sources into a coherent proposals and presentations. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite is required. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required; Master's degree preferred.

Job Title: Hoa 'Aina Hope for Kids Intern
Job Number: 129

Location: Honolulu

Job Summary: Interpret and share the mission, values, and programs of Ho'oulu 'Aina. Assist the Community Education Coordinator with hosting community access and workdays. Assist leading groups

Qualifications:
Strong understanding of Ho'oulu 'Aina mission, values, program areas, sustainable development plan, and how they interrelate
At least 60 hours of volunteer work with Ho'oulu 'Aina
Strong group management and group facilitation skills
Comfortable with a diverse range of people including but not limited to age, mental and physical
Sufficient knowledge of plant ID and ethno-botanical theory
Propagation and cultivation knowledge
Indigenous cultural knowledge / pacific island (preferably grounded in Hawaiian Culture) and willingness to share
Comfortable leading and speaking to large groups of diverse individuals
Land-based educational experience
Malama 'Aina experience outside of HA
Occasional nights and weekend work
Patient and dedicated to 'Aina-based work
Embraces sharing
Comfortable with flowing, creative, and organic process
communicate with staff to address day to day opportunities of Ho'oulu 'Aina
