MAKE A DIFFERENCE DAY

KALIHI VALLEY PARK

 

Saturday, October 28, 2006

8:30 am to 12 Noon

 

Cut & Haul Bamboo, Plant Natives, Spread Gravel & Mulch, Construct Water Bars…

and more good fun!

 

Please bring water, mosquito repellant, sun screen, hat, long pants, covered shoes and your lunch.  Gloves, tools and kids are welcome.

 

Directions:  From Honolulu- Take Like Like Highway , turn right at the light on Nalanieha St. (after the light at Alu St.)  At the first (only) light, turn left onto Kalihi St. & keep going all the way up to the very end where you cross a wooden bridge. Take the first driveway to your right (go slow, it’s a bit bumpy) and park in the mulched area.   If you are coming from the Windward Side, turn left at Nalanieha, the first stoplight as you come down Like Like.
